Stephanie Lynn Schulte

August 1, 1958 — November 8, 2021

Stephanie "Teppie" Schulte, ,age 63, a Globe native who spent much of her life in the Las Vegas valley, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021. She was the daughter of Chet and Marda Lou Schulte.

Stephanie is survived by her husband, Frank Garcia; daughters Jasmine and Tessa Garcia; and sisters Kellie Boykin and Toni Phillips.

Known for her free-spirited personality, Teppie lived life to the fullest. She spent her early years traveling to tropical destinations, spending time in Jamaica, Barbados, and Hawaii. She loved visiting the ocean and exploring the beach.

She never walked into a room silently. Her presence in any setting injected it with positive energy and good humor. She was an avid dancer who could get anyone on their feet. Her moves even once caught the attention of Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker, who left the stage during a Mesa concert to dance alongside her.

While prone to speaking her mind, her directness was always paired with a profound empathy, caring for others as if they were family. This resulted in dozens of inherited children and friends across the country.

The celebration of life will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at the Historic Globe Train Depot. Please contact Bouquets on Broad St. for colorful floral arrangements.
