John Raymond Rau

John Raymond Rau passed away Thursday January 5th, 2023 at Banner Thunderbird Medical Center.

Born January 21, 1956 In Toledo, Ohio to George and Jean (Dunham) Rau (both deceased), he was an only child.

Married May 17, 1975 to Jayme "Mistie" (Turner) Rau (deceased), they had four children; Ingrid Rau-Berry (husband Charles W. Berry II), Jeremy Rau (son Jasper, Step daughters Amy & Summer), Robert Rau (wife Fawn, son Jesse, and daughter Elizabeth), Sgt. Timothy Rau (husband Jason Smith-Rau); 3 Grandchildren, Faith Clemo, Ariana Clemo, and Jasper Rau; one great grandchild Meliodas Hughes; nieces and nephews, and many cousins.

He traveled around. The country with Christ Is the Answer missionary group. Where he met his future bride.

He enjoyed teaching Sunday School at The River of Life Assembly of God. He also played guitar, and bass and sang at church.

His favorite job was as a news man at KJAA radio.
