Virgil Bendle

Virgil Mark Bendle, age 54 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on October 23, 2020 at Mercy Gilbert Medical Center in Gilbert, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on July 16, 1966. He was the son of Patricia (Irving) and Irving “Pee Wee” Bendle. He worked as a seasonal firefighter. Virgil attended Rice Elementary School, Ft. Thomas School, and Phoenix Indian School. He worked at the Smelter as an operator for Freeport-McMoran copper mine, and as a correctional officer for the San Carlos Adult Detention Center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. His faith was very important to him. He was preceded in death by his half brother William Bendle. Virgil is survived by his parents Patricia (Irving) and Irving “Pee Wee” Bendle, his wife Nina (Sabori) Bendle of San Carlos, his daughter Precious Blessing Bendle of San Carlos, his siblings Sandra DeClay of Whiteriver, Darrell Bendle of Whiteriver, Valtentino Bendle of San Carlos, his half sister Anna Bendle, ten grandchildren and one great grandchild,. Visitation will be on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 from 7:00- 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Shadows Church in Globe, Arizona. Services will follow at 10:00 A.M. at Calvary Shadows Church. Interment will be in San Carlos Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
