Victor J. Woodbury, Sr.

Victor James Woodbury Sr. was born on November 9, 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona. He passed away on March 17, 2021 in Phoenix AZ. He was the son of Katherine Victor Woodbury and Michael W. Woodbury. He is preceded into death with his mother Katherine, his Maternal Grandmother Winnie Dosela Victor, his Maternal Grandfather Emerson Victor (Peridot, AZ) and his Paternal Grandmother Victoria (Woodbury) Nieve (Eugene, OR). He attended elementary and junior high school at Rice School, in San Carlos, AZ, went on to attend Globe High School in Globe, AZ (1986-1990). He went on to study for Carpentry at Northern Pioneer College, where he received his certificate in Carpentry. Victor had 10 children that he loved, Derek Boyd Hanson, Globe, AZ, Josiah Cameron Woodbury, Canyon Day, AZ, Kristen Caitlin Woodbury, Canyon Day, AZ, Angel Bailey Woodbury, Phoenix, AZ, Aaliayah Marie Woodbury, Canyon Day, AZ, Elijah Woodbury, Victor James Woodbury Jr., Dallyn Fleming, Alex Erickson Fleming and Michelle Lynn Woodbury, Peridot, AZ. Victor had a brother Michael R. Woodbury, from Peridot, AZ, 2 sisters Darlene Woodbury, from Dallas, TX, Shirlene Woodbury Descheny, from Peridot, AZ. and he had 9 grand-children. He had many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and relatives that he loved he always expressed how much he loved them with a “I love you!” Victor had worked as a Ranch Cowboy at Tonto Ranch, Ashcreek Ranch, and Point of Pines Ranch and Slaughter Mountain on the San Carlos Reservation. He was a former Stockman where he was very knowledgeable in the work he did. He loved working on the ranch where he rode a horse all day to rope steers and bulls. Recently he was working for RP doing Janitorial work in Phoenix, AZ. He is remembered by many to be a kind, helpful, humorous, and a caring person. Victor will be missed by many especially his children, dad and siblings, may his memory live on through all the lives he has touched.
