Vernon Ken Johnson

In loving memory of Vernon K. Johnson, also known as “Bally” by family and friends.

Vernon was born at the San Carlos hospital on February 23 ^rd in 1976. He was 46 years old.

His parents were the late Verna Irving and Norbert Johnson. His only two sisters are Melissa Case and Erin

Everette.

Vernon attended Peridot Head Start at five years old. Then started at Rice Elementary School. He also attended

Sherman Indian High School.

Vernon was a very caring, helpful, happy person. He liked to help his family in any way he could. He loved to make others laugh. He liked to tell his crazy jokes. He enjoyed listening to a variety of music, metal, reggae, hip-hop, and love songs.

The past few years he lived with his Aunt Tenelia May, he helped her in many ways.

Vernon lived in various places throughout his lifetime. He lived in Key West, Florida, Morenci, Arizona, and Parker, Arizona. Vernon always had stories about the places he had been and all the different types of lifestyles he encountered.

During Bally’s teenage years he liked to hang out with his cousins Lisa, Timmy, Emma, Bert, and the late Terry Irving. When they would hang out, they like to ride bikes, go swimming and going up the mesa. He liked to draw and like to tell jokes. He also loved to tell scary stories at night. He was helpful to people in Chinatown. Bally loved all the kids in Chinatown, he took them for walks and hikes up the mesa. He loved all the ones even though he didn’t have any of his own.

Vernon will be missed by family and friends. He left us with many jokes and memories. Vernon is survived by his sister Melissa Case & Erin Everette. He is preceded in death by his father Norbert Johnson and Mother Verna Irving.
