Vera Mary (Campos) Fernandez

Vera (Campos) Fernandez, a compassionate mother and caregiver for all, peacefully passed away on November 15, 2024, at 71 years old, with her loved ones by her side. She is survived by her companion Sergio Medina, Tina Carbajal-Perez (Kevin Perez), Monica Fernandez (Reggie), & Angel “Angel Baby” Medina (Zoe Medina). She is welcomed to heaven by her beloved late son Paul Wayne Carbajal.

She grew up in El Sereno, California where she enjoyed day trips to the beach and surfing. Vera moved to Globe, Arizona as young adult and spent the rest of her life residing in southern Arizona. She dedicated many years of her life to caregiving through being a foster mom, nursing assistant, and providing love to anyone that needed it.

She enjoyed playing softball, dancing to oldies, going to the river, spending time outside and with family, water skiing, playing pool, and watching her Diamondbacks play. She will be deeply missed, never forgotten, and her spirit will be carried on through her family.
