She was born in San Carlos on November 25, 1968

Daughter of Christopher Phillips and Marianna Goseyu

She was a homemaker who enjoyed Church, helping with events, Christian music, putting on parties, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Velda is survived by her husband Daniel Salas; her children Emery Roscoe Roy, Gina Marie Sanchez, Raeleen Joy Phillips, Dominique Cheney, Michael J. Torres, Sophia G. Gates, Ryan B. Martin; and her siblings Caroline Elansury, Beverly Phillips, and Lloyd K. Jones.

She will be missed by all who knew her.
