TERRY PEARSON, AGE 65, OF MESA, PASSED AWAY THURSDAY, DECEMBER 18, 2020 AT MI CASA NURSING CENTER IN MESA. Our little brother Terry Dean Pearson, born March 25, 1955, died on December 17, 2020 of COVID-19. Terry was the fourth child of William R. Pearson and Barbara Jean Pearson. He was the beloved brother of Vicky Pearson, Randy R. Pearson, and Ken Pearson. Terry was preceded in death by his loving parents and his sister Vicky. Terry’s early life was in Gunnison, Colorado. He loved the mountains, fishing, playing with his siblings and his best little friend Chuckie Gordon. He attended Pine Street School and he was a sweet lovable little brother who was nick-named “Orly” by his Uncle Terry Gall. That name stayed with him and morphed into simply the “Ore” over the years. We all used that name affectionately. The family moved to Miami, Arizona in 1963. Terry was a joyful, happy-go-lucky boy growing up there. He loved sports and played football, basketball, and track his freshman year at Miami High School. He would spend his days with his brothers and at the YMCA during the summers. Sadly, in the spring of 1970, Terry’s life was forever changed. He endured two brain surgeries that eventually left him mentally disabled the rest of his life. He lived most of his life institutionalized. His heart and smile still shone through during all those years. His courage to endure and survive his unfortunate fate always amazed our family. He was loved and cherished. Terry was 65 years old when he passed. He is being laid to rest this day beside his mom and dad in Miami, Arizona. Rest your weary mind and body in the loving arms of Jesus Christ, little brother. Bask in the glory of the Lord as you are now free from the heavy burdens you carried throughout your mortal life. We love you so much, the Ore, and we all thank you for the journey we shared with you in this life. Give our love to Mom, Dad, and Vicky. GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE 11:00 AM Wednesday December 23, 2020 AT THE MOUNTIAN BREEZE CEMETERY IN MIAMI
