Tanya Brown

Tanya Denise Brown, age 50 of Peridot, Arizona passed away on January 9, 2021 At Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center in Globe, Arizona. She was born in San Carlos, Arizona on July 8, 1970. She was the daughter of Darlene Johnson and Everett Brown. Tanya attended Peridot Mission School and then Globe High School and graduated with the class of 1988. She did many jobs, Tanya was a teacher, she was a seasonal firefighter, she cooked for wakes and sunrise dances. She worked with the WIC food program, was a Census Surveyor and worked with children in many capacities. She loved baking and cooking. Tanya is survived by her parents Darlene and Everett Brown, her husband Sheldon Rope, her children Ty Brown of Peridot, Warren Brown of San Carlos, Junior Brown of Peridot, Tori Brown of Peridot, Nicholas Brown of Peridot, Turtle Brown of Peridot, her siblings Donna Dawahoya of Peridot, Donovan Brown of Bagdad, Lorna Brown of Tempe, Chris Brown of Thatcher, Crystal Brown of Tempe, Everett Brown II of Los Angeles, California, Mark Brown of Globe, Sandra Brown of Whiteriver and ten grandchildren. Visitations will be on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 A.M. in Upper Peridot Cemetery.
