Sonja Henry

Sonja Henry, age 77 of San Carlos, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Arbor Rose Nursing Home in Mesa, AZ. She was born in San Carlos, AZ on April 9, 1943 the daughter of Britton and Eunice (Goode) Logan. She attended Rice Elementary and Phoenix Indian School. She had worked as a waitress at the restaurant in Seneca and also worked at the laundromat in San Carlos. She love to sew and she made many camp dresses for the Sunrise Dances and families. Sonja enjoyed spending time with her family at cookouts. She was a loving homemaker and will be greatly missed, but will cherish our memories forever. She was preceded in death by her husband Clinton Henry, Jr. in July of 2020. Sonja is survived by her children; Clinthea Henry, Clinton Henry III, Nathaniel Henry, Lynn Moore, Sheila Sisto and Evelyn Dawson, her siblings; Julia Bendle and Briton Logan, Jr. WEDNESDAY: APRIL 7, 2021: VISITATION: 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM - CHURCH OF CALVARY, RTE 6, SERVICE: 10:00 AM - CHURCH OF CALVARY, RTE 6, SAN CARLOS BURIAL: HOLY GROUND CEMETERY, 7 MILE WASH DISTRICT.
