Sheldon James Rope

Sheldon James Rope age 26 of Maricopa, Arizona passed away on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Phoenix, Arizona on March 6, 1995. Sheldon was the son of Christopher Rope and Muriel (Naseyoma) Tsosie. Sheldon attended elementary school in phoenix then Mt. Turnbull Academy in Bylas, Arizona. He started working at Freeport McMoRan in Morenci with his dad before moving to Maricopa and started working for DP Electric as an electrician. Sheldon loved to hunt big game, loved hiking, running and being outdoors in general; spending time with his family. He always made people laugh and was always smiling with his signature deep dimples. Sheldon is survived by his loving mother and father; Muriel Tsosie and Christopher Rope and his brother Stephen Takala of Maricopa, Arizona. A Wake will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Sarah Rope’s residence in Bylas, Arizona. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2021 at 10:00 A.M. at Bylas Second Miracle Church in Bylas, Arizona. Interment will follow at Navajo point Cemetery in Bylas, Arizona.
