Tanaya Cook

Tanaya Carrie Cook, age 39 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on August 28, 2020 at her residence in San Carlos, Arizona. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 19, 1981. She was the daughter of Nell (Mason) and Tony Cook. She was a homemaker. Tanaya attended Rice Elementary School, San Carlos Junior High and Sherman High School in Riverside, California. She loved Reggae music and spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Ronnie Cook Jr. Tanaya is survived by her parents Nell & Tony Cook of San Carlos, her children Devin Cook of San Carlos, Diona Porter of San Carlos, Lamuel Porter of San Carlos, Douglas Porter Jr. of San Carlos, Kaylee Porter of San Carlos, her siblings Sharon Nosie of San Carlos, Perphelia Boz of Florence, Abel Cook of San Carlos, Thelma Cook of San Carlos, Margo Cruz of San Carlos, Janet Dosela of San Carlos, Jaime Cook of San Carlos, Jeremy Cook of San Carlos, Jared Cook of San Carlos, Carrianna Cook of San Carlos and three grandchildren. Visitation will be on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1:00 – 2:30 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at 3:30 P.M. in Hilltop Cemetery.
