Sam Salter

Sam Salter, age 86 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on November 19, 2020 at his residence in San Carlos, Arizona. He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on August 24, 1934. He was the son of Nellie (Dosela) and Bart Salter. Sam worked with the Copper Mines. He was preceded in death by his parents Bart and Nellie Salter; his wife, Elnora (Norman) Salter; his son Bernard Salter Sr.; his daughters, Patricia Smith and Esther Cook; and his brother Wilson Salter. Sam is survived by his children Katie (Lemuel) Goode, Baxter Salter Sr., Leroy Salter, all of San Carlos, Arizona, Barbara Thorpe of Tucson, Arizona, and Michael Salter of Phoenix, Arizona, and his sister, Dorothy Gibson of Oklahoma, Sam has 21 grandchildren and 52 great-grandchildren. Visitation hours will be on Friday, December 4, 2020 from 8:00 – 10:00 A.M. at the Calvary Shadows Assembly of God Church in Globe, Arizona, with the Funeral services beginning at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be on December 4, 2020 at the San Carlos Cemetery on Mormon Hill in San Carlos, Arizona. Assisting the family; Lamont Mortuary of Globe.
