Ruth Stewart

Ruth Marie Stewart, age 89 of Peridot, Arizona passed away on January 9, 2021 at Hospice of the Valley Lund Home in Gilbert, Arizona. She was born in Bylas, Arizona on March 4, 1931. She was the daughter of Marie (Chova) and John Moses She was a homemaker. Ruth attended school at Rice Elementary School. She was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing, cooking and spending time with her family and friends. After the passing of her husband she did a lot of traveling with her kids. She loved the Grand Canyon and Sedona. She was preceded in death by her parents Marie and John Moses and her husband Bobby Stewart. Ruth is survived by her children Lorraine Urquidez (Oscar) of Peridot, Vivian Stewart of Peridot, Lillian Gray (Paul) of San Carlos, Elaine Thompson of peridot, Anthony Stewart (Lillian) of Silver City, New Mexico, Samuel Stewart (Jolene) of Cutter, Bobby Stewart, Jr. of Peridot, 25 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great grandchildren. Visitations will be on Friday, January 22, 2021 from 11:00 – 1:00 P.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at the Stewart Family Cemetery in Peridot, Arizona.
