Ruben Flores Avalos

Ruben F. Avalos, born April 2, 1934, to Jose Inez Avalos and Margarita Flores.

Ruben was all about helping out his family in any way he could, he worked various jobs to provide for his family including underground mining, wildland fire fighting (known as “Pops”), a prison guard and he proudly served in the US Military.

Ruben loved the outdoors.  Hiking, fishing, rock collecting and watching his kids/grandkids in sports.

Ruben leaves behind his wife Dolores Avalos, sons Albert (Mary) Avalos, Anthony (Valerie) Avalos, Mico Avalos, daughters Florene Avalos, Monica (John) Perez, 11 grandchildren,15 great grandchildren and 1 great- greatgrandchild.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Jose and Magarita, his brothers, George, Charles (Carlos),

Lorenzo (Toro), his sisters, Carmen (Carmela), Helen, Teresa (Teddy) and grandson, Albert Avalos Junior.

A Memorial Services with Military Honors will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.  at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.
