Ronald Chesley

Ronald Jay Chesley, age 75 of Globe, Arizona passed away on December 5, 2020 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Globe, Arizona. He was born in Globe, Arizona on May 7, 1945. He was the son of Anne Helen (Puhara) and Loren Chesley. He attended Globe High School and the University of Arizona where he played football and softball. He was the instigator in starting the Light Parade in Globe. Ron was a DJ for the schools and for parties. He volunteered at the Globe Senior Citizens Center and had an engraving business on the side. He loved to listen and play music and to play golf. Served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents Anne and Loren Chesley. Ronald is survived by his girlfriend Sue Gatewood, his children Derek Chesley (Jennifer) of San Jose, California, Ryan Chesley (Jazmin) of las Vegas, Nevada, Melanie Chesley of Chicago, Illinois, his siblings Wayne Chesley of Mesa, Dale Chesley (Gloria) of Tucson, Pat Salcido of Globe and one grandchild, Benjamin. A Memorial services will be held at a later date.
