Robert Leonard Irving, Sr.

Robert Leonard Irving, Sr., age 75, of San Carlos, Arizona, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025, at San Carlos Healthcare Center, in Peridot, Arizona.

He was born in Superior, Arizona on April 3, 1949, the son of Dewey and Bertha (Lockwood) Irving.

He worked as a seasonal firefighter for B.I.A. Forestry, and he enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing Bingo, attending Tribal Elder Events. His biggest joys came from his love of family, and he also enjoyed many friendships. We will miss him dearly his memory will never fade.

Robert is survived by his son Robert Irving, Jr. his parents Dewey and Bertha Irving, his sibling’s Betty Irving, Beverly Irving, Rachel Moody, Peggy Massey and five grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Irving and his brother Eugene Irving.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025, at 3:00 P.M. at Irving’s residence in San Carlos, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at Burdette Hall at 1:00 P.M. in San Carlos, Arizona.

Interment will follow at Elgo Dam Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona.
