Richard Alfred Breitrick

Richard A. “Dick” Breitrick of Globe, Arizona passed away July 14, 2023 in Tucson, Arizona. He was born July 11, 1930 in Appleton, Wisconsin. Dick and his beloved wife of 57 years Mitzie moved from Wisconsin to Ely Nevada in 1953 and then to Globe in 1976. He loved most his large family, which included seven children, John, Jim, Liz, Peter (deceased), Paul, Matt, and Catherine, and their spouses, as well as two sisters, fourteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren. He and Mitzie gave their children wonderful childhoods and the chance for fulfilling lives. He was a terrific bridge player, a first-rate geologist, a loving pet owner, an avid outdoorsman, and a banjo player who loved the rhythms and textures of Dixieland jazz. He was much loved by his extended family and close friends, who will all miss him greatly. Memorial services will be held on July 31, 2023 at 1:00 P.M at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.
