Reynold James Natsyn also known as “Randy” was born in San Carlos, Arizona on April 26, 1968, to the late Annie Talkalai and the late Gerald Natsyn of San Carlos, Az. He was the oldest of 4 biological children, Jimmy Natsyn and the late Darren Natsyn of San Carlos, AZ, and Lisa Dale of Whiteriver, AZ. He was a stepbrother to Chance Natsyn, Gerard Natsyn and Diana Natsyn of San Carlos, AZ. He had many nieces and nephews.
As a child, Randy attended Rice Elementary School and he also received his GED in 2014. Randy spent his time and was well known for his ability to fix anything that was needing maintenance such as fixing cars and electronics. Randy was well known for window tinting as he had the skills to fabricate vehicles for people he knew or even put a new sound system in a vehicle. Randy was a jack of all trades, as he had the knowledge and skills to bead Apache t-necklaces, assemble Apache moccasins and Apache buckskin outfits. Randy was a very intelligent person as he helped others in time of need, that is when he found the passion to learn how to cook for others which gave him the opportunity to feed people every chance he got. Randy loved being an uncle as he always spoke of his nieces and nephews as well as being a grandpa and he had many grandchildren.
I know each of you are very saddened by Randy’s passing. And today, as we grieve together, I want to highlight what made him so special. If I had to use just two words to describe Randy, I would say: Selfless and caring. I am sure each of you could add a lot more, as I know each of you experienced Randy’s love in a unique and special way.
As you may know, Randy loved others deeply and enjoyed each moment he got to spend with each person he met. Randy was also passionate about helping others as he did his best to give with what he had. Randy was special. Randy mattered. He was here and made a powerful impact on many of our lives. I admire the way Randy Lived and loved each day like it was his last. I especially admired how he was family oriented and shared his knowledge of family relations to the younger generation. We will miss Randy so much. I will close with a quote that has brought me comfort. I hope it does the same for you.
“All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.” - Helen Keller
Thank you all once again for honoring Randy’s life with your presence today. May we all continue to love deeply and may each gift of love from Randy remain a part of us.
