Pierre Martin

Pierre Paul Martin was born in Madawaska, ME, April 9,1959 to Jean Paul and Grace (Gagon) Martin. He was a loving father to Gabriella Martin, as well as a brother and friend to Suzanne Mallett, Mimi Boisvert, Jocelyn Marquis, Mark Martin, Pauline Webb, Ronald Martin, Anne Wood, Allen Martin, Monique Martin and Lise Smith. Pierre was a writer, poet, artist and he loved to spend time in nature. For much of his early life he was a hiking and wilderness guide. He practiced yoga and meditation, as well as martial arts, and believed heavily in the value of deep breathing, and a good laugh. His art, including his many stories, t-shirts and hats, were a mission to spread his positive ideas to other people. He was a mentor and teacher to many. He loved to travel, and made friends with people everywhere he went. The last 2 years of his life he spent living in Arizona during the winter, enjoying warmer weather, the natural landscape, and the open skies of the desert. Pierre died of a heart attack on Sunday, April 26, 2020 at the age of 61.
