Pernell Logan was born on August 12, 1965 in San Carlos, AZ by his beloved mother Josephine Boni Johnson and the late Asa Logan Jr. His favorite hobbies as a young boy were fishing, swimming, hunting and outdoor adventures with his older brother and aunt. He attended school at Rice Elementary up to eighth grade then went onto Sherman Indian High School in Riverside, CA, with his sister Cita. After graduating high school he then went onto Southwest Polytechnic Institute majoring in civil engineering for two years in Albuquerque, NM. Pernell worked as a land surveyor alongside Wayne Grainger and Paul Thompson Jr. who later became his good friends. His survivors include his kids: Lynelle, Kali, Joseph and Anjanette Logan, his grandchildren: Marcus Kinney, Autumn and Codi Laramie, his siblings: Dennis Logan Sr., Pecita Logan, Danita Logan, Chantelle Chapman, his many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. Pernell will be joining his late brother Augustine Logan, late sister Ava Talas and his late father Asa Logan Jr. Although you are no longer with us we will be playing fisherman blues in your memory. Visitation will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 4:00 P.M. at Josephine Johnson residence in Gilson Wash, San Carlos, AZ Funeral Services will be on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Church of Calvary at 1:00 P.M. in San Carlos, AZ. Interment will follow at Holy Ground Cemetery.
