Paul married his beloved wife, Clora Martinez, in 1956, in Taos, New Mexico. Paul then entered the Marine Corp in 1958, where he honorably served until 1962. In 1968, looking to better his life and the life of his family, Paul moved to Globe, AZ, where he worked at Magma Mine until he retired on July 1st, 1998.
Paul was a proud Marine, loved his Oakland Raiders Football Team, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and his companion dog Popo.
Paul was a great husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. To know Paul is to know he was a quiet, but dedicated man, who never had a bad word to say about anyone and treated everyone with kindness and respect.
Paul is preceded in death by his parents Ruben and Maria Gonzales. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Clora Gonzales, his children, Lorraine Gonzales of Globe, Paula Franco (Spouse: Steve Franco) of Mesa, Margaret Madrid (Spouse: John Madrid) of Mesa, Rita Salcido (Spouse: Robert Salcido) of Globe, and Paul Gonzales (Spouse: Joann Gonzales) of Gilbert, 7 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.
Paul will be greatly missed by his family and all of those who knew him
