Orlinda "Orlie" Hernandez

Orlinda (Orlie) Hernandez was born on December 23rd, 1936 to Jose and Delfinia Martinez in Chimayo, New Mexico. She went home to be with her Lord on November 3rd 2021. Orlinda is survived by her sons: Jose Hernandez, Daniel P Hernandez Sr (Julie), Eberto J Hernandez, her daughters; Teresa Hernandez, Gina Hanson, Maria Jawara (Buba), 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. She leaves behind five sisters; Tillie Cooper, Rosemary Hampshire, Susan Curiel, Veronica Maleckar, Erlinda Martinez. Three brothers; Joe Ralph Martinez, Salvador Martinez, & Joe Martinez. As well as many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Eberto C Hernandez, son Pete Hernandez, sister Mellie Hutchins and Joann Navarro, grandson Daniel Hernandez & great grandson Albert. Orlinda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was always willing to be there and help those that needed her. She worked many different jobs to provide for the family, as well as being a homemaker. She will always be remembered for her delicious tamales and tortillas. Orlinda loved God and wished the same for her family. She will forever be missed by all those that loved her.

A Visitation will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. until time of service at Lamont Mortuary of Globe Chapel.

Funeral Services will be held on THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 11, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary of Globe Chapel.

Interment to follow at Pinal Cemetery of Globe, Arizona.
