Novena Jane Cobb

Her journey began on November 26, 1952 in Globe, Az at the Gila General Hospital. She was born to the late Clinton Henry I and the late Martha Dewey.

In her early years she attended Theodore Roosevelt School and Phoenix Indian High School. She was a lifelong resident of  Peridot, Az.

She was a devoted wife to the late Nelson Cobb and a loving mother to Shawnee, James, Alisha, Lisha, Melissa, Novella, Felisha and Nelvena. Novena was a wonderful mother and cared endlessly for her children.

She was a proud grandma of 24 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren whom she loved very much.

Novena was gifted the ability to weave beautiful and traditional Apache Burden Baskets which is carried on by her daughters. She was known for her impeccable work.

She was kind and gave whole heartedly. She loved cooking and was often seen at wakes helping families cook for the ones who passed on. She will be remembered for her helping heart and joyful spirit.

She was called home on October 10, 2021.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 @ 4:00 P.M. at the Cobb Residence (New Moon Base #11) in San Carlos, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at San Carlos Miracle Church in Peridot, Arizona

Interment will follow at Navajo Point Cemetery in Bylas, Arizona.
