Norma Jean Mathews

We are sad to announce the passing of our grandmother Norma Jean Mathews 83 of Globe

Arizona on November 4,2022.  Norma was born in St. Louis Missouri on November 10, 1938.

She traveled to Arizona where she later met her husband, and they spent 58 wonderful years

together.

She is preceded in death by her husband Orville Mathews, daughters, Roxanna Mathews, Janet McNutt, Kipper Poeling and 4 grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter Iva Mathews, 13 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

She was a gem of a woman who has been the strength, love, and unity for our entire family her entire life. With her arms wide open to everyone at any time. Her smile would light an entire room and her hugs so tight will be missed dearly.

And saw your tired face

He put his arms around you

And lifted you to rest

Gods garden must be beautiful

He only takes the best

We are all so blessed to have had this many years with her and we will all miss her dearly.

A Celebration of life will held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at 1:00 PM at

Miami Mercantile & More located at 155 S Miami Ave Miami, Arizona.

We invite everyone to please wear red as that was Nanas favorite color.
