Nell Cook

Nell Cook, 79, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on March  16, 2022 at Haven Healthcare in Globe, Arizona. Nell was born on June 14, 1942 to Salamus Mason and Helen Mahsill. She lived in San Carlos all her life. Growing up she was never alone, she was always with her siblings, she had two sisters and three brothers.

Nell was an active member of the San Carlos Miracle Church. With her bible in hand, she always prayed with and for others.  She enjoyed being a mother, and grandmother to her own but also to others who needed her. She always gave a helping hand. She had so much love to give, “to know her was to love her”.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Sharon (Cook) Nosie, Perphelia (Cook) Boz, Margo (Cook) Cruz, Janet (Cook) Dosela, Able Cook, Vivian (Dennis) Sangster, and Melford Dennis, her brother, Simon Miller, her sister, Ophelia Chatlin. She had thirty-six grandchildren, sixty-nine great grandchildren, and seventeen great-great grandchildren. She had many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who were like family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her children, Ronnie Cook jr., Tanaya Cook, Thelma Cook, sister Geneva Chatlin, her brothers, Bronson Chatlin and James Chatlin.

She will return home on Friday, March 25, 2022 at 4 o’clock pm, on Airport 79 house #92. Followed by funeral services on Saturday, March 26, 2022 at San Carlos Miracle Church at 1 o’clock pm. She will be laid to rest at Hilltop Cemetery in Seven Mile, San Carlos, AZ.
