Nathaniel Curtis, Sr.
Son of Allen Curtis and Annabelle Kindelay
The "baby" of his immediate family. His last job which he loved was at San Carlos Apache Tribal Farms. Nathaniel also worked many years in law enforcement with the San Carlos Apache Tribe and a few years with the Tonto Apache Police Department before returning home back to San Carlos to retire from law enforcement with the tribe. He went right back into working security at PDEE and then lastly at Tribal farms. He was an outdoors man grew up riding horses all over Gilson wash and hiking everywhere with his cousins. He was a hunter, fisherman, motorcycle rider, DJ, and real lover of music. He volunteered at KYAY Radio station as DJ Staggo as you might remember him playing all genres of music his favorites blues and rock. He was a funny, smart, adventurous guy who loved to have a good time with friends and family. He will be missed as, father, Grandpa, Uncle, cousin, and a brother to many friends who became his family and as always, a brother to his brothers and sisters in blue.
He leaves behind 6 kids Naomi, Nathaniel Jr., Katrina, Joseph, Erin, Nathan. 7 grandkids and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
(FUNERAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD FIRST, FOLLOWED BY A WAKE, THEN BURIAL WILL BE HELD THE FOLLOWING MORNING)
