Naomi Ruth "Omi" Yazzie

Naomi "OMI" Yazzie, age 79, of Peridot, Arizona, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2022 at San Carlos Apache Healthcare in Peridot, Arizona. Born May 24, 1942 in San Carlos, Arizona to parents, Stewart Brown and Josephine Mutton. Before Naomi retired, she worked as a C.N.A. at The Good Samaritan Hospital and the old San Carlos Hospital. She loved to dance and listen to all genres of music. Her favorite holiday was Halloween. She really enjoyed dressing up and having fun with all the children.

Naomi is preceded in death by her parents, Stewart Brown and Mary Josephine Brown; brother, Everett Brown; sister, JoAnn Brown; and a granddaughter, Naomi E. Patten.

Survivors include her children, Roselda Dawes of Ft. Defiance, AZ, Mitchell Barlow, Lorenzo Miller, and Daniel Yazzie all of San Carlos, AZ; brother, Udell T. Brown of San Carlos, AZ; 13 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; also numerous nieces and nephews.
