Nancy Casoose

Nancy Whitney Casoose, age 71 of Peridot, Arizona, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 27, 2022.

She was born on March 20, 1951 to William Whitney and Pearlie Dunn in Reno, Nevada.

She is an enrolled member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe in Nixon, Nevada.

She attended Stewart High School in 1963 and graduated in May of 1969.

For many years she worked at the Rice Elementary School as a Service food worker/ Manager from 1982-1999, the same year she moved to the Apache Gold Convenience Store until 2010, then Express Stop in Globe for 3 years.

Around 2014, Nancy retired and spent her time at home, shopping, playing pool at her favorite local bar, going to the casino and spending time with her grandkids who she loved so much.

She was married to the late Johnson Casoose, Sr. of San Carlos, Arizona. Nancy is survived by her 3 daughters; Victoria, Cheryl and Veronica Casoose of San Carlos, Arizona.

She also leaves behind 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Johnson Casoose, Sr. (2016) and her son Johnson “Sonny” Casoose, Jr. (2022).
