Mikeal Lee Smith

Mikeal L. Smith was born on October 23rd, 1949, in Prescott, Arizona, to Leroy Smith and Vernice Landsburry. He went to be with the love of his life, Carla, on August 1st, 2023. They decided to get married on August 22nd, 1981.

Mike and Carla never had children together, but Carla (aka C.J.), always said they are not yours or mine, they are all of ours. Their children are Brad (Karen), Shelly (Geroge), David (Lachelle), Paul, and Mechelle. Mikeal and C.J. also had 16 grandchildren: Shayla (Daniel), Brock, Brady, Steven, Sterling (Nikki), Justin (Jaylin) Jace, Bryanna, Payten, Brooke, Jag, Katrina (Dennis), Brodie, and Megan. Their great- grandchildren include Shon, Tatum, Kira, Olivia, Gage, Gracelyn, Ryatt, Jax, and Kayan.

Mike had many interests, but his favorite ones were helping others with their needs and playing good jokes on others. He also enjoyed camping, trips to the lake with his family, being outdoors, and dancing in the kitchen with Carla.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at the Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at the Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.

Interment will be held at a later date at Globe Cemetery.
