Michael Edward Gentsch

Michael Edward Gentsch, age 71, passed away at his home in Globe, Arizona on January 7th, 2024. He was born on July 1st, 1952, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to James Gentsch and Beverly Ann Abernathy. Michael loved to be outdoors. He enjoyed spending his time fishing and hunting. Michael worked as a carpenter in the Phoenix area and at the Casino in Payson, Arizona. He proudly served our country for 30 years as a U.S. Navy Seal. He also walked a one-eyed mule named Buford across the state of Oregon. His kindness and company will be missed by many. He is survived by his wife Kelly Gentsch, stepchildren, Helen Mercer, Stephanie Mercer, and Christopher Mercer. Brothers Bill Gentsch, Robert Williams, and his sister Linda Lou Williams.
