Merril E. Schutt Jr.

Merril Schutt Jr., age 54, of Roosevelt, Arizona passed away February 1, 2022. Born September 12, 1967 in Phoenix, Arizona to Merril Schutt Sr. and Vera Schutt. Merril graduated from Miami High School 1985. After graduation he went to work for SRP. Merril worked for SRP for 30 years, during this time he work as a labor, foreman, lineman and etc. Merril was afraid of flying, but he would hang out of helicopters. Merril was an amazing artist and enjoyed drawing and making chainsaw wood carvings. He also loved the outdoors and loved hunting, fishing, camping and riding his four wheeler. Merril's greatest accomplishment and loves of his life was his daughters, Amber and Stephanie, along with his grandson which was his pride and joy, Trevor. Unfortunately, he never had the chance to meet his new grandson, Grant.

Merril is preceded in death by his mother, Vera Schutt.

Those left to cherish Merril's memory include his daughters, Amber Gilson of Peoria, Az. and Stephanie Rovey and husband Brett of Peoria, AZ; sister, Marlene Clawson and husband Johnny of Globe, AZ; his father, Merril Schutt Sr. of Roosevelt, AZ, and 2 grandsons, Trevor and Grant.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday March 5, 2022 at 12:00 P.M. at Roosevelt Baptist Church AZ-188, Roosevelt, AZ 85545

Celebration of life will immediately follow at the Schutt Family Residence: 581 N. Mesquite St. Roosevelt AZ, 85545
