Merlena Dane Johnson

Merlena Dane Johnson, age 34, of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at Hospice of the Valley in chandler, Arizona. She was born in Whiteriver, Arizona on December 31, 1989, daughter of Anthony Johnson and Carol Jean (Bendle) Johnson. She worked for the Tribal Administration Office in Housekeeping, as well as the Apache Gold Casino. Merlena enjoyed being with friends and hanging out with her dog Pix both going on long walks. In her younger years she liked playing sports, but basketball was her life. She like going to church, helped cleaning at the church and she liked to pray and read her bible. Her biggest joys came from her love of family and the building of her relationship with God. She is survived by her siblings Merle Johnson and Leve DeHose. She is preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Carol Johnson. Wake will be held on Friday, November 29, 2024, at 4:00 P.M. at Lily Bendle residence in San Carlos, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at 1:00 P.M. at San Carlos Miracle Church in San Carlos, Arizona. Interment will follow at San Carlos Cemetery in San Carlos, Arizona.
