Melissa Hobbs

"Melissa D. Hobbs. Passed away at the age of 40, on Jan. 25th 2021 at Banner Desert Hospital in Mesa AZ. She was born in Globe, AZ. Aug. 27th, 1980 to Ray Bozzola and Sherilyn Smyers Bozzola. Melissa graduated from Globe High School in 1998. She went to U of A for a short time before she finished her schooling to become a Respiratory Therapist from Apollo College. As a Respiratory Therapist she worked at Maricopa County Hospital, CVRMC, and the San Carlos Apache Hospital. Melissa met and fell in love with Pete Hobbs. They were married on Sept. 27th 2016 in Globe AZ.Melissa and Pete loved to travel, go to sporting events, and just spend quality time with family. She will be remembered for her smile, her loving nature, and her compassion for others. She brought so much happiness and love to her husband, children, family and friends. Her beautiful heart will live on forever. Melissa is survived by her husband Pete Hobbs, five kids; Kyle Smyers, Brenton Hobbs, Robert Hobbs, Madison Hobbs, and Lucas Hobbs, Father Ray Bozzola, Mother Sherilyn Smyers Bozzola, and Sister Raelynn Rife. She also leaves behind her grandmothers, Betty Smyers and Esther Bozzola, lots of extended family, and countless friends. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Smyers and Don Bozzola." A PRIVATE FAMILY MEMORIAL SERVICE WILL BE HELD AT THE GLOBE CHURCH OF CHRIST.
