Merilyn Dewey

Marilyn Dewey, age 61 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on August 27, 2020 at Banner Baywood Medical Center in Mesa, Arizona. She was born in Miami, Arizona on February 18, 1959. She was the daughter of Frances (Upshaw) and Patrick Brown. She was raised and schooled in Miami, Arizona. She enjoyed Quilting, Sewing, Baking, Spending time with her Grandchildren and going to the San Carlos Lake with her kids. She was preceded in death by her parents Frances and Patrick Brown, her husband Rustin Dewey Sr. and her son Rustin Dewey Jr. Merilyn is survived by her children John Dewey of Cutter, Justin W. Dewey of Cutter, Angelea Delma (Curly) of Peridot, Carol Speer (Jack) of Globe, her siblings Becky Young of Pima, Samson Brown of Cutter, Elizabeth “Jeannie” Lewis of Cutter, seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Friday, September 4, 2020 from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona. Graveside services will follow at 12:00 Noon in San Carlos Cemetery.
