Maxie Beashley Jones Sr.

Maxie Beashley Jones Sr. age 80 of San Carlos, Arizona passed away on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at Haven of Globe in Globe, Arizona.

He was born in San Carlos, Arizona on December 10, 1941.  Son of Martin K. Jones and Winnie Chin Jones. He worked as an Underground Miner for 37 years at the Magma Copper Mine.

Maxie enjoyed attending traditional ceremonies, couching baseball for Miami in his younger years and he was also a cowboy. He was a proud member the Tonto Cattle Association.

Maxie is preceded in death by his parents Martin and Winnie Jones, his daughters Debra and Carol J. Jones, and his brothers Chuck and Martin Jones Jr.

He is survived by his wife Nellie Thorne, Children Maxie B. Jones Jr. and Joseph M. Jones. His brother Harold Jones and sisters Jennifer Martin, Lorraine Jones, Pricilla Casey and Rebecca Hinton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, from 8:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lamont Mortuary Chapel in Globe, Arizona.
