Marylita Smith

Marylita Meade- Smith, was born on July 1st, 1943, to the late parents Clarence and Reina Meade in Peridot, Arizona.

She was one of 14 children. Marylita went to school at Phoenix Indian School in Phoenix, Arizona and later went on to school in the Medical Field in California.  Her hobbies were sewing and cooking.

Marylita is survived by her sons Jeffery Raymond Smith and Derrick Michael Smith. Brothers Lambert Meade, Larry Meade, Clarence Meade, Jr., and Joseph Dillon, Sr. Sisters Reina M. Dillon, Abbie M. Colelay, Delores M. Truax, and Doris M. Dakoshay. Also, many other family and friends that will miss her dearly.

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence Meade and Reina Pifer. Her daughter Maxine Smith, sons; John Michael Smith and Jason Louis Smith. Brothers, Brenard Meade, Baxter Meade, Leslie Meade and sisters Marilyn Truax, and Esther M. Scott.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023, from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday November 15, 2023, at 3:00 PM at Lamont Mortuary of Globe.

Interment will be held at a later date.
