Marvin Patterson

Marvin Patterson, 73 of San Carlos Az passed away in Globe, Az September 29, 2021. He was born on October 24, 1947 in San Carlos Az to Emily Jones Tessay & Ernest Patterson.

Patterson went to Thunderbird Academy in Scottsdale, Az graduated May of 1967. He attended Southwestern Union College in Keene, Texas before being drafted in the United States Army. Marvin was a medic in the Army. He served 15 years in the service. His favorite place to be stationed and always talked about was Schofield Barracks Hawaii.

After serving his time in the military Marvin worked in Los Angeles, CA, Sacaton, Az & San Carlos, AZ He worked as a Case Manager at Social Service, District Worker at CHR and held different jobs at Apache Gold Casino Resort. He later retired from AGC. He enjoyed spending time with his family & friends, going to sunrise dances and gambling, traveling to different places and spending time with his Grandchildren.

Marvin also like collecting cans and scrap metal. He enjoyed fishing & watching his favorite show “Judge Judy” He very much enjoyed participating with the Veterans. He was a proud US Army.

He is preceded by his wife Imogene Case Patterson, Son Terry Patterson, Mother Emily Tessay, Father Ernest Patterson & Stepfather David Tessay Sr.

Survived by his daughters Eva Patterson, Carmen McIntosh, Laurie Case & Cathy Case. And son Travis Case. He also leaves behind 15 grandchildren whom he loved very much.
