Marion Steele

On Friday, August 17, 2018 Marion Drumm Steele, Mother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Friend, and Beloved Community Librarian, passed peacefully in her home after a long battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents Catherine (Reed) and Raymond Drumm. Marion will forever be loved and missed by her children, Tracy Steele Valencia, Melissa Steele, and Raymond Steele, her grandchildren, Taylor Valencia, Timothy Valencia, Trevor Valencia, Athena Steele-Cannon, and Kai Steele, and by her sister Margaret Green. Marion will also be remembered by her nieces and nephew, extended family members, dear friends, and by her cherished patrons from the library. Services for Marion are planned for August 25, 2018 at Holy Angels Church in Globe, Arizona. Rosary is at 10:45 A.M. with services following at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, a monetary donation may be made - as the family would like to donate books to a local school library, in honor of Marion’s wishes.
