Marilyn Baird

Marilyn C Baird, age 80, passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 at her home in Globe, AZ, with her daughter and sister at her side. Marilyn Colleen Baird was born May 11, 1939, to Damon & Irene (Bruce) Michael in Ogallala, Nebraska. She was 1 of 10 children. Marilyn married George Baird on August 20, 1957. From this union they had 3 children. She moved with her family to Torrington in 1957. She was a stay at home mom for several years babysitting several children until 1974 when she went to work for the school district. She worked several jobs until 2006 when she retired. Marilyn lived with her daughter, her niece and finally moved to Arizona and lived her sister.   She is survived by her son Perry and wife Bobby Jo of Torrington, WY; daughter Brenda Schreiner of Estes Park, CO; daughter Linda Herbin and her husband Jerry of Rock Springs, WY; granddaughter Katherine Licking and husband Ernie; grandsons Troy Gladson and wife Davina; Travis Herbin; Jebidiah Stipe, WY; Zachary Stipe and wife Nikole; and Joshua Stipe along with 18 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her Brother, Milton, her sisters, June Schuler, Anne Powers, Betty Jo Reynolds and husband, Don, and sister in law, Betty Michael, along with numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband George; siblings Jean, Richard, Beverly, Donnie and baby Darrell. She will be remembered lovingly for her bubbly personality (and her “bling”) by everyone she knew.   FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. BAIRD ARE PRIVATE.
