Margaret John

Margaret Vera John (Mahsill), age 89, passed away Tuesday January 19, 2021 at Hospice of the Valley Ryan House in Phoenix, Arizona. Preceded in death by her late husband of 53 years Raymond Willard John and daughter Elizabeth Carrizosa Hernandez her youngest child. She is survived by five daughters Margaret Ann Arce two grandsons and one granddaughter, Alberta Honanie Tellez two grandsons and three granddaughters, Rebecca Deleon one grandson and two granddaughters, Rachel Carrizosa one grandson and one granddaughter, Rose Ball one grandson and one granddaughter and Elizabeth children one grandson and two granddaughters. Son-in laws ; Larry Arce, Danny Tellez, Ruben Deleon two granddaughters, Randolph Beasley, Manuel Hernandez. She did have great grandchildren 18 children. Margaret Vera John grew up on San Carlos Apache Reservation in Arizona. Her mother was Rachel Polk and father Oliver Mahsill. Margaret worked as a seamstress in San Francisco, CA and a domestic worker in the Bay Area of California she retired at age 75. She loved to go bowling at Lucky Lanes and in high school she played basketball. Sewing was her life and she did that until 65 years old. VISTATION WILL BE SUNDAY JANUARY 31, 2021 FRON 11:00AM TO 1:00PM IN THE CHAPEL OF LAMONT MORTUARY OF GLOBE. GRAVESIDE SERVICES AND INTERMENT WILL FOLLOW AT 2:00PM AT THE SAN CARLOS CEMETERY.
