Lorraine Libynski - Tarwater

Lorraine B. Libynski-Tarwater, age 61, of Mesa, AZ passed away on February 16, 2020 at Chandler Post Acute & Rehabilitation Center in Chandler, AZ. She was born in Mineola, NY on May 10, 1958 daughter of John W. Libynski and Anne (Scherer) Libynski. She was raised on Long Island, graduating from Patchogue-Medford High School. Lorraine worked as a Home Healthcare specialist for the Elks and Catholic Services. She provided many special need services. She was also a recreational supervisor for an Elks Home in Green Valley putting together special events for special needs people. She enjoyed 70’s music, movies and theater. She also loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her husband James Tarwater in 1997 and her parents John and Anne Libynski. Lorraine is survived by her siblings John Libynski and Edward Libynski. She will be greatly missed by family and all those who knew her. Funeral Mass and burial of ashes will be announced at a later date.
