Lillian Dillon was born in Old San Carlos, Arizona to Ned Dewey and Nettie Watson (Dewey) on December 2, 1937. She had seven siblings: five sisters and two brothers. She was raised in Old San Carlos and later moved to present Lower Peridot, Arizona. Lillian began her education journey in Old San Carlos Attending what was known as Day School, then went on to Peridot Mission for intermediate school and then finished 8th grade in East Fork Lutheran School in Fort Apache, Arizona She later met and married her late husband Franklin Dillon in a secret elopement ceremony in February the year 2000. Lillian was homemaker and took pride in her traditional skills as a seamstress, cradle board maker and tulapai brewer. Lillian is survived by her sister Pauline Doucette of Globe, Arizona. Her two daughters Kathy Jones, of Peridot, Arizona, and Karen Sisto of San Carlos, Arizona. Along with four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She also had on god-daughter through tradition, Corrina John.
