Liborio Vega Urquidez

Liborio Vega Urquidez, age 78, of Globe, Arizona, passed away on Monday, October 14, 2024, at Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center, in Globe, Arizona. He was born in Alpine, Texas the son of Liborio Urquidez and Mercedes (Vega) Urquidez.

He enjoyed watching football, he was a Cowboys and Cardinals fan. He liked hanging out with his grandchildren Katrina, Katelynn, Andy and Takoah.

Liborio is survived by his wife Margarita (Franco) Urquidez, his children Abraham Urquidez, Naomi Urquidez and Steven Urquidez, his sister Yolanda Weesner, his brothers Arturo Urquidez, Oscar Urquidez, Danny Urquidez and four grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents Liborio and Mercedes Urquidez and his brother Vicente Urquidez.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines being a Purple Heart recipient.

A father is someone you look up to, no matter how tall you grow. A son’s first hero, a daughter’s first love. Grandpa’s bring a little wisdom, happiness, warmth and love to every life they touch.

We will miss him dearly, but we will cherish our memories forever.
