Leroy Evan Thompson

Leroy Thompson was born on September 17th, 1947, to Joseph and Agnes Thompson. He went to be with the Lord on October 9th, 2023. He left behind his wife Shirley Thompson of 48 years, his daughter Sheryl Perez, his sons Tom Thompson and Travis Case, and his 15 grandchildren. Leroy served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He loved hunting, fishing, and most of all camping with his grandchildren. He liked scouting for rocks with Tom, Rolando, and his late father-in-law Henry Stevens, Sr. Through the years, he worked for B.I.A Forestry and Roads. He retired from Indian Health Services in 2015. He is preceded in death by his son, Troy Thompson; also his 4 brothers and 5 sisters. He, for sure, will be missed. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, from 8:00-10:00 A.M. at Gilson Wash Activity Center in San Carlos, Arizona. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at Gilson Wash Activity Center in San Carlos, Arizona.
