Lenora Clark, 90, of Globe, AZ passed away on Saturday April 20th, 2024, peacefully in her home surrounded by family and her garden of roses. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dwight, husband Bud, daughter Gail, and grandchildren Cassidy, Neil, Amberlyn, and Jim Ed.
Lenora was born on January 30th, 1934, to Homer and Edna Joy in Young, AZ where she grew up and would meet her husband Charles “Bud” Clark whom she married in 1951. Bud and Lenora lived it Pleasant Valley before moving to Texas and then eventually settled on “The Ranch” in El Capitan where she thrived as a rancher’s wife and mother raising their three children Lynn, Lee, and Gail who all attended school in Globe.
Lenora loved gardening, traveling, cooking, and sewing. She will be remembered for her roses, famous biscuits & gravy, and her beautiful quilts. When she and Bud moved to Globe after the kids were all married and raising their families, she got to have her dream sewing room where she continued making quilts up until the end.
Above all, Lenora loved her family including her nieces, nephews, step-kids, cousins, and friends. Lenora is survived by many of these family members including her brother Frank and his wife MaryAnn, two sons Lynn (Pat) and Lee, grandkids Lyssa (Jack), Lauren (Tyler), Josh (Meagan), Justin, Clint (Leslie), and Wes (Angie). She also leaves a legacy of 11 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Lyssa and Lauren got the family all together earlier this year to celebrate Lenora’s 90th birthday in Globe.
