* OBITUARY * Leland John Courtney April 1, 1975 – August 22, 2020 Leland Courtney, 45 passed away at his residence in Globe, Arizona on August 22, 2020. He was an underground miner for many years and loved the cowboy life as well. He loved to hunt and fish and anything outdoors. Leland loved his family very much. He faithfully read his scriptures every day. Leland is preceded in death by his Grandparents, a brother and a son. He is survived by his father Richard and step-mother Mary of Phoenix, his mother Arlene Brunson of Globe, his brothers Wayne Courtney (Dawn) of Mesa, Alex Courtney (Leilani) of Globe, his children Tatum Courtney, Sydnie Courtney, Makenna Courtney, Madeline Courtney all of Phoenix, Isabella Courtney and Alejandro Herrera of Globe, two grandchildren Dawson and Hadley of Phoenix and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A memorial will be held on September 5, 2020 at Lamont Mortuary Chapel at 3:00 P.M. A burial of ashes will be private at a later date.
