Lavar Holyoak

Lavar Holyoak was born on September 7, 1935 in Fort Thomas, Arizona to Willard and Martha Holyoak. Lavar was preceded in death by his son, Poncho. Lavar is survived by his wife Iris; their son Eric (Laurie); his grandchildren Chelsea and Jeremy (Anna); his brother Raymond Holyoak (Wylita), and his nephew Gary (Penny). After graduating from Miami High School, he joined the Air Force then returned to Globe-Miami. He worked for the mines in Hayden, Arizona for 38 years. He was an active leader at Maranatha Baptist Church. His favorite was working with the AWANA kids. Lavar was a man of thoughtfulness, of kindness, of patience and integrity. He is now at rest with his Lord. Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2023, 10:30 am at Maranatha Baptist Church in Globe, Arizona.
