Larry Michael (Mike) Bradford

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our brother Larry Michael (Mike) Bradford, who departed from us on January 31, 2025, with his loved ones at his side. Born on February 18, 1965, Mike was not only an exceptional athlete in his youth, but also a beloved brother, uncle, and friend.

Mike is proceeded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Julie Bradford, niece, Jessica Shay Norcross, and nephew Warren Henry Norcross IV.

Mike’s athletic prowess was evident from a young age, as he excelled in track and field, Pole Vault and football. His dedication and passion and sportsmanship left an inevitable mark on his teammates, and those who had the privilege of playing with him and watch him play. Mike worked as a journeyman wireman as of November 2, 1989, out of the local union 518 and loved working alongside his dad and brother.

Though he never had children of his own, Mike had a heart full of love for many. He was a guiding figure to his nieces and nephews, and the children of close friends, always offering support, wisdom, and kindness. His generous spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Mike is survived by his brother Darren Bradford (Cheryl), sisters Sharron Norcross (Warren), Stacey Bradford Zamora (Charlie), his best friend and confidant Jennifer Johnson Philpot, Uncle Daniel Osteros (Debbie) aunts, Margaret Toot and Linda Osteros. As well as numerous friends and extended family members who will cherish him deeply.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Globe Elks Lodge, to celebrate the life of Mike Bradford. In Lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations to be made to the Sara K foundation in his memory. His legacy of love, kindness, and athletic excellence will forever be remembered by those he touched. May he rest in peace
