Knutson Chatlin, age 76 of San Carlos, AZ passed away on March 30, 2021 at his residence in San Carlos, AZ. He was born in San Carlos, AZ on November 20, 1944, the son of Mark Hanna and Madeline (Logan) Chatlin. He attended Rice Elementary, Stewart Indian School at Stewart, New Mexico. He was the Director for the Tribal Work Experience Program. He had also worked for the Tribal Finance, Housing and Forestry. Knutson enjoyed being outdoors spending time with his family fishing and hunting. He liked watching basketball since he had played it in school. He served his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Preceded in death by his daughter Vannetta Lynn Chatlin. Knutson is survived by his wife Ophilia (Mason) Chatlin, his children Barletta Palmer, Anaya Chatlin, Riley Lee Chatlin, Van Lee Chatlin and Neva V. Chatlin, his siblings; McFarland Chatlin and Vada A. Bendle, 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
